About.
Krill Kits is a swarm of small, sharp tools for letters, numbers, and units. Thirty calculators and converters covering the everyday math you’d otherwise solve in a search bar — word unscramblers, tip splits, mortgage math, unit conversions, BMI and TDEE, fuel cost per mile, and more. Every tool is free, fast, and built to answer one question well.
// WHY THIS EXISTS
Most utility sites are covered in trackers, pop-ups, and a wall of SEO filler before you get to the actual tool. The result is a slow, hostile experience for a thirty-second task. Krill Kits is the opposite bet: put the tool first, keep the page quiet, make the math honest. Every tool gives you a permalink you can share, JSON-LD schema for search engines, and a path-based URL instead of query strings.
// HOW IT’S FUNDED
Ads. Google AdSense pays for the hosting and keeps every tool free. We don’t sell your data, we don’t run retargeting pixels, and we don’t gate features behind an email. If you decline the cookie banner, you’ll still see ads — they’ll just be non-personalized.
// THE DESIGN
Brutalist by choice. Pure black and white, neon green for accent, mono type for system text, sans bold for headings, zero rounded corners, 3-pixel borders. The aesthetic exists to be honest about what the site is: a utility, not a product experience. It also renders fast.
// WHAT’S NEXT
More tools, more programmatic pages (ingredient conversions, popular letter racks, percentage tables), and a dictionary. If there’s a utility you’d use that doesn’t exist yet, let us know via contact.
